Reading- We have talked about the 5 finger rule when picking out a "good fit" book. Your child should read 1 page of the book and for each word they so no know they should put up a finger. If they reach a point where every finger on one hand is up then that indicates a non good fit book.

We have just finished studying about Biographies. Also, the students picked a state and researched different facts about their state. The finished product was a state float where they displayed the different facts.

Math- Money, money, money. Our Math unit is all about counting money and using correct change when purchasing items.
